Hi Angelo,
At the present time this will work only with a US number. (Notice how the word "number" is singular) ;-) But, as Randy stated above, if we see enough interest in a UK version, we will have to make it work for the UK as well. cheers, Greg Rostami |

So, here is an odd thing. On my iOS device that I installed ipredict, I now have double contacts. It didn't happen on my iPad, or my Mac. It even duplicated Esmeralda! Which poses some issues if you can imagine. Any ideas?

Hi MAOmagic,
Just Delete both Esmeralda contacts using your iPhone's contacts app. The next time you launch iPredict, it will create a new Esmeralda contact for you, and you'll have only ONE Esmeralda contact. Greg Rostami Posted: Nov 24, 2010 4:25am Randy and I both would like to wish all of you a VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING. For those of you who will be performing iPredict during the holidays, here are a few tips and pointers. 1. If you decide to use Esmeralda's business card, hand out her business card before you bring out your iPhone and IMMEDIATELY have your spec. put the biz card in their pocket. This will hide her phone number from view until the end of the trick when you want to prove that there was only one number. 2. The current written instructions do NOT have the explanation of how I did the routine on the demo video. We are currently finishing these videos. We didn't think Apple was going to approve so fast. To perform with a real deck of cards, just start with the deck in Si Stebbins stack. From there, if you're familiar with the stack then you'll figure out how I knew which card he put in his pocket. ;-) A more complete version of this routine will be available on the instruction videos coming soon. 3. For some strange reason, I always get AMAZING reactions from the most basic performance of iPredict. The basic performance is: The magician introduces a "REAL" psychic named Esmeralda by showing Esmeralda's contact in the iPhone's contact list. A spectator names any card from a deck of cards. When Esmeralda is called from the magician's iPhone, a voicemail greeting reveals the chosen card with a brief psychic reading! Notice how the above routine doesn't use Esmeralda's business card. It's VERY direct, FAST, and baffling. Try it . . . You'll be shocked at how well it works. I think the old magicians saying that goes "Don't run if you're not being chased." applies here. 4. When I perform any version of iPredict, I always perform the secret move WHILE the spectator is holding my iPhone. Since the move is instant and motivated, it's completely invisible. After the move, since the iPhone is already in their hand, I instruct them to call Esmeralda by touching her contact phone number. When the trick is over, the spec will swear that you never touched the iPhone, since they were holding it for almost the entire time. take care friends, Greg Rostami P.S. If you want to say Hi to us or just leave a goofy message, always remember that Esmeralda's voicemail is a REAL voicemail . . . just leave us a message after the tone, we'll be able to hear it. ;-) |

Thanks forgetting back to me Greg. But it didn't just duplicate Esmeralda. It duplicated all of them! I have to delete one of each contact (all 300+). Any ideas why?
Also, a kind of neat effect I was trying with ipredict. I used a Boris Wilde deck and had them take any card and very carefully place it face down so no one sees including them. Then we call the psychic who predicted the card they chose and knew even before any of us did. |

Hi MAOmagic,
I don't think the duplicated contacts have anything to do with iPredict. When you first launch iPredict, it simply creates a new contact called Esmeralda. The app NEVER touches any of your other contacts. I will look further into this matter, but I really don't think iPredict duplicated all of your contacts. Greg Rostami |

Thanks for getting back to me. It's really odd. I have mobileme and all my stuff syncs, I didn't
T do anything different, or plug it into my computer. I just installed ipredict andmall the sudden duplicated contacts. It didn't duplicate Esmeralda th first time either, I uninstalled and when I redownloaded it, now there were two esmereldas as well. |

Hi ArtofDeception,
We have already submitted a new version of iPredict that addresses this issue. It will be released in the next 4 days. Sorry about the inconvenience, Greg Rostami |

Hi Ustaad,
Since iPredict is based on making a REAL phone call, it is currently limited to the US and Canada. If there's enough interest, then it'll expand to other countries. The app has already been designed with other countries in mind. We just have to find a REAL psychic in your country. ;-) take care old friend, Greg Rostami |

I didn't think anything could top iForce as far as iPhone/iPod Touch magic apps go, and I'm happy to say that I was proven wrong.
iPredict is simply amazing. As has been said, the creators have thought of everything to make this as deceptive as possible. The subtleties of the program are by far some of the cleverest I've ever seen. And at $9.99, it's an absolute steal. When you realize the amount of work that went into making this happen, you'll realize that you're getting the deal of the century.

Since they're both from the same creator, I don't mind saying I like iPredict better than iForce. And I like iForce a lot!
Simply an amazing app. |

And as for software based effects (applications) are concerned you are the MASTER in the field. I have seen the demo video and I can confidently say that IPredict is a very well thought-out and a brilliant effect - It's a killer. In my country iPhones are still to make an impact. So till then I will have to wait. Wish you and your new release great success (as it has always been with your previous releases). Wish you all the best and good luck my friend. With warmest regards, Narendra

Thank you so much Philemon & Jeff Prace,
Ever since we created iPredict, I've shown it to many iForce customers. It's been REALLY interesting to hear who thinks which app is better. They are VERY different from each other. The die hard iForce fans still think iForce is better; and others think that iPredict is more clever. As the creator of both, I'm happy either way. ;-) Over the last month, I've been performing iPredict a LOT. The reactions that iPredict gets are interesting. The most basic performance of iPredict gets great INSTANT reactions (the next demo video will show you that). In contrast, the most advanced performance (with a real deck and a spectator calling on their phone) gets a bizarre quiet and stunned reaction (that's the one you see on the demo video). It has a delayed reaction . . . On Thanksgiving eve, Bob Kohler performed iPredict for many magicians during Mac King's Thanksgiving dinner. I wasn't there, but the next day Bob told me the list of magicians included some big names that I hope will speak about iPredict in the near future. I'm very happy to say that Bob got his copy of iPredict the morning of that day . . . When we first designed the method of iPredict we were really surprised by how easily we could do the secret move with 100% accuracy. I think you'll fall in love with this new method just like I did. Thank you all for your support . . . I can't wait to hear about your performances with iPredict. Greg Rostami Posted: Nov 28, 2010 5:24am OK . . . I HAVE to tell you something REALLY COOL. Never has there been a trick where the creators get to experience the reactions from magicians performing the effect. Listening to the voicemail recordings of YOUR performances is AMAZING . . . some of your spectators curse . . . others call Esmeralda "Devil Woman" . . . and others just yell and cheer "NO WAY!!" I need to consult my attorney about this, but at some point, I'm going to compile some of the funny voicemail responses that YOUR spectators have left for our beloved psychic!! stay tuned . . . I hope I can legally play some of these funny messages for you . . . Greg Rostami |

This sounds really cool. I have IForce and love it. Just a quick question, is the number being called from within Canada long distance?
Thanks, |

Hi Andrew,
The number that is being called is in Los Angeles, CA USA. So if your calling plan in Canada doesn't include the US then yes . . . you're making an international call. Greg Rostami |

Hi Greg this does look very good... Im from the UK and would be interested in the UK version... Also wanted to ask is there a charge for the call.. and what is the cost...
Also couldn't we still use this in UK and just say this is A Psychic From the USA etc.. and still call it.. but would this be an international charge... Or is it done over Internet connection as you mentioned VOIP like skype etc... Thanks for your reply in Advance...
