I do only a few holiday / wintertime themed balloons. The most asked for at Christmas time, while tablehopping, is the Reindeer balloon. I usually draw a red nose.

What is a good resource for learning some new tablehopping give-aways that tie into Christmas time?

I make a xmas hat by just making a red hat and I add a regular round balloon on top.

Yes and then do a 2 balloon braid and it makes a beard. of course on more white going straight accross makes a mustache. connect both ends to the red had hat that deception talked about.

Rudolph is popular where I live, too. Try making a snout out of two balloons (dog ears) and then you can add an inflated red segment for a nose between the two sections of the snout that will save you from drawing it on; it will look more like a real nose would. Other items you might like to try are a wreath, snowflake, snowperson, xmas tree, and santa. All of these are demonstrated on youtube by a variety of twisters. Ralph Dewey's Rubber Rascals has a cute little one balloon Santa that my customers like to receive during the Christmas season.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try them all. To be specific, I will need to use these at busy restaurants where a balloon or two ( a minute or two ) is all I can afford at any table per patron. I was hoping that there is a DVD or two that featured Christmas themed tablehopping balloon art.

Jeanine at Croak Designs puts out instructional balloon CDs that feature step by step instructions as .pdf files. They're excellent and even quicker learning than following a video.

Volume 5 has a lot of good X-Mas themed stuff but they are all very good for the working restaurant twister.

This sounds like a modified version of Royal Sorell's Santa Hat from his Balloongineering series. Though it's about ten years old, there's still a lot of really good information on it.
