In trying to find a set of multiplying balls that match the aging dexterity (or lack of) of my hands, I settled on a set of day-glo yellow multiplying golf balls by Empire/Loftus. Their rubberized texture is perfect. But I immediately noticed the gimmick is a glossy yellow plastic that doesn't match the balls. Any ideas on how to "dull" the shine?
Thanks much! |

Have you tried painting the shell with a matte-finish paint?
Alternatively, perhaps a matte-finish spray would help. I think the big thing would be just to cut the shine, right? -Patrick |

Actually, the big thing is to get the finishes to match. Dulling just the sh+++ may not produce the desired results.

I think one of his relatives has taken over the business.

I have a set of MMSB and the Fakini golf balls. I like the Fakini's better, they seem to be a little easier to handle.

Fakini is excellent, but also you may want to consider teh Vernet balls. They have small "spikes" on them and grip very well...non-slip!

I liked the Vernet balls for variety. The principle behind their "Flash Four" production differed radically from the standard Flash Four and I wish someone would adapt that principle to other types of multiplying balls. If you placed a Vernet ball in the sh*** and gave it a slight twist, the ball and sh** would cling together slightly so that they could be tossed into the air without separating.

I like the Fakinis also and the product line allows you to add other related effects easily. I have the diminshing set and the giant golf ball in that range.
