I have been posting on regular forums, that count toward the post count, yet my post count is still stuck at 68.

Posting to several of the forums here will not result in your post count being increased. Several of your most recent posts were to one of these "not counted" forums, that's why your post count didn't increase when you posted there.

Totalpackage: most of your recent posts seem to be in the let's make a deal and It's Not Magic forums. Neither of these areas are "regular" forums as you put it and do not count toward the total posts figure.
