This is impressive. Though I just also discovered, via this, Google Goggles, which is pretty similar, and also available for android phones.

I didn't know Google Goggles had added text. Looking at that text goggle led me to Japan Goggles and China Goggles from Lucsens - translating characters. These are free(!) apps for the iphone, don't know if they're android bound. Man, these things come out faster that you can keep up with them.

The app is free, it does an incredible demo for you of translating and putting words in reverse. Spanish to english (and english to spanish) are 4.99$.
