I have always been a fan of Thor, but in small doses.
Wasn't he always drawn as so much bigger than mortals?

In the Marvel Encyclopedia they said that Thor was created because they needed someone who could physically challenge the Hulk, and the only way they could do that was with a god.
I'm looking forward to the film, although I think the guy they got to play Thor is a bit skinny for the role

The Thunder God went for a ride,
upon his favorite filly. "I'm Thor!" He cried, the horse replied, "You forgot to thaddle me thilly!" *** And let's not forget this gem from "Aladdin 2" - the genii doing both parts. THOR: "I'm Thor!" COMMENTOR: "You're Thor?" THOR: "Well, it hurth!" *** I remember seeing a movie called "Adventures in Babysitting" where the poster had the younger girl wearing a Thor helmet. I thought it was odd, but they actually worked it into the storyline!

In days of yore, the great god Thor would ramp around creation.
He'd drink a pint and slay a giant and save the Nordic nation, Or kill a Worm to watch it squirm and vainly try to fang him, Or lock up Loki in the pokey and on the noggin bang him. Once he did bawl through Thrudvang Hall that on a trip he'd wander In a disguise from prying eyes, in Midgard way out yonder, So all his slaves, huscarls and knaves, packed up his goods and gear, O, And off he strode, on Bifrost road, a perfect Aryan hero.

Did you hear about the time the Hulk went out to party with Thor?
One of them got hammered and the other one got smashed!

The cartoon Thor which I used to watch as a kid had a pretty good intro song that went:
Cross the Rainbow Bridge of Asgard, Where the booming heavens roar, You'll behold in breathless wonder The God Of Thunder, Mighty Thor! For years I thought it was "blue ming heaven", like the pottery colour.

Well, apparently the "Dr. Don Blake" character isn't going to be here.
Not that I'm too disappointed, they never really did anything with him anyway.

I'm a big comics fan, but this teaser doesn't really grab me. My gut feeling is that this movie is not going to be a great success, but we will see.

I love Thor, but unfortunately I was disappointed with the trailer. It just didn't have that epic Viking vibe that I was hoping for.

It does kinda look like the "He-Man" movie with a slightly bigger budget, doesn't it?
