Yes, it is that time of the year. I will be in Vegas next week. Anyone else going to be there? Any advice? (already seen Mac King)

I'm going to Vegas for the first time the first week of January... I've got Mac King on my list of "must go see" but I'd also like to visit a shop worth a ***... Suggestions on shows and shops?

Denny and lee have a shop on Dean Martin Drive. They used to have a social gathering on Saturday Mornings. Also Boomers has Gary Darwin's gathering Wednesday nights

Second the Denny and Lees - last time I was there they had the Saturday morning gathering. Free pizza and quite an inventory, especially books.

I've watched most magic shows in Vegas when I was there in 2007 and few months back. David Copperfield, Mac King and Penn & Teller are so far the best magic shows there (Lance Burton as well..but he is no longer there..).

A non magic show will be Terry Fator at Mirage. He is one of the best ventriloquist in the world and full house daily. The acts and response he receive is much better than most magic shows in Vegas.

So many choices, so little time! Thanks everyone -- I'll definitely visit Denny and Lee's. Torn between Mac King and Penn & Teller... two of my favorites, those guys Smile

Pixel, see both. Mac's show runs in the afternoon while Penn and Teller are in the evening. If cost is an issue, Mac's show is only 15 bucks.
No reason you can't catch both of them. Have a good time at CES.

$15 to see Mac Kings daytime show?

How did you get that deal Claymation?

I just went to his website and it says seats are $25.

Get a room at Harrah's, and see Mac's show for free.
