I've been working on finalizing a design for a utility device and am looking for a rubber similar to that used in McBride's McGrip tip. It's a textured, flesh toned rubber that is very tear resistant. An ideal for the application. I've sent an email to McBride and Tobias, but figured that this would be a good place to get pointed in the right direction for similar or better materials that will suit the device. You will need to find a flesh colored polyurethane. Polyurethane has very high friction characteristics and very resistant to tearing, very tough. It does not do well with water. Water causes polyurethane to swell.
