Currently I can connect my PC & PS3 to my wireless network at home and get good speeds for things like Netflix. The problem with that is that it is a little slow for streaming high quality video from the PC to the PS3.

So, I found out how to connect the PC and PS3 together with an ethernet cable and used internet connection sharing to share the PC internet with the PS3. This works great for the PC to PS3 video streaming, but is slow for watching Netflix on the PS3. I guess because the internet signal must first go through the PC and then out to the PS3.

So how do I get the best of both? I can't connect directly to the wireless modem/router that connects to the internet. It is in another room. Is there something that will pick up the wireless signal and then have ethernet cables from it to the PC and PS3? Is it some type of wireless bridge, switch, or whatever?

I need a way to receive the wireless signal and then send it via cables to the devices. This way the PC will stream video fast enough to the PS3 because it will be wired. The Netflix will worked because the signal would not first be going through my PC.

Simply, what do I get to receive the wireless signal and connect the devices to it with ethernet cables?

Thank you for the help.

You can get a wireless receiver that connects to the device, that is for non wireless units. I take it you are connected to your phone line to a wireless modem. The settings in the modem can be changed to a higher level but I don't know your system to tell you how.
You can also change your configuring to a different channel as all are set for the same one and if a lot of people are using wireless it can interfere with speed.
