Hiya Gang!

I haven't been posting in this section as much as I have in the past, simply because I've found that most everyone here has a solid knowledge base with regards to the working gigs. A great thing! But, just in case you have some questions or thoughts, I thought I'd share with you a list of Essays I've written over at some other sites that are focused more on the working aspect of our wonderful art.

Please bear in mind, these are simply ideas that I have found have worked for me! Results may vary, lol...

Jamie knows his stuff and offers some good information. The beginning to intermediate worker would do well to study his articles.

Thanks for the kind comments guys! That means a lot- truly.

This is all prep work for a book I'm writing called, "The Approach", which will outline how I approach all things magic.

My best,

Good one. I agree it will go away. It takes a little longer for it to go away when performing for your peers though.

The last part sounds a lot like Stuart Smalley... "I'm good enough. I'm smart enough. And doggone it, people like me." Smile
I am getting so tired of slitting the throats of people who say that I am a violent psychopath.

Here's #10 (Deflecting Thoughts and False Memories).

I personally find this one of the most important skills I have: the ability to innocently ask a question...

And I realize this is a link outside the Café, but it seems to work well. The Café gets Magic Friday, and I'll link the Walkaround Essays here in this thread!

Thank for reading!
