I agree that Joe Skilton's version is excellent for TV and I like it very much.
I don't know if it would work still the same in areal world situation, since it's very angle dependend. Oliver. |

Extreme Burn 2.0 for me. Although, I have not seen Joe Skilton's version. So I'm staying true to the question, I guess. Extreme Burn is the most visual that *I have seen.

I really like the one by Eugene Burger. It's very clean and uses the spectators' bills.

I saw Lon Chevrie perform this years ago and it left quite an impression. |

If your talking about a flash bill change, I would agree with Extreme Burn 2.0.

Bill switch as in you fold up a bill and it changes into another bill? Get the book Switch written by John Lovick. That will tell you everything you need to know. As for extreme burn etc.. I think they are better as a blank paper or newspaper to money effect. If you want to change the value of a bill get the book.

Arigid,
You're answering yourself your own question: The transformation of a piece of paper or a bill into a bill or another bill is already a visual effect in my opinion. The only thing that may add to the visibility of the effect would be the cleanliness of the handling, means that the bill is as much as visible in the hands of the magician without the complete cover of the bill during the handling. So I'll second the suggestion of RS1963: Go and get John Lovick's book "Switch". It has dozens of different versions and handling in there. Find the one that suites your needs or after studying the different versions work out your own one. Good luck, Oliver. |

Thanks, Jazzy! Juan Pablo has a new one called Cash Flow that looks like that but done in one hand. (View here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pd21nAp2ITk)
Sorry this is off topic - but it might end up being the most visual(?) |

Switch by John Lovick will explain everything you could want to know about bill changes. From it you can make your own routine which will suit your style.

I myself like the Spritz Change from Lonnie Chevrie and the switch utilized by Eugene Burger. Both are very magical and very clean. In fact I have, on occasion, taken certain subtleties and things from both and put them into one.
In all, I think the Eugene Burger version probably gets the best reactions because of the fact that it uses (or at least it is able to use) a borrowed bill. I have also seen the Lovick work and I have put that book on my list. Very nice and it leaves quite an impression, even on magicians of the "know it all" type... |
