I will perform soon gypsy thread on TV. I have 1 and a half minute to perform. It's a heading called 'speed battle'. Basically it's a ''battle'' between a magician and a stand-up comedian. Each have 1 m and a half to demonstrate something, then spectators vote in facebook and the one who wins come back in the following week. So, I want to do the routine funny. Any advice for lines, patter?
Normally I usually start with the roll line inside the card box, and say something like ''and know a trick with...?'' ''...with line...'' (they think it's a card trick) and customize according to the event, or public, per example, if it's Christmas each piece of thread it's something that is part of Christmas, Santa, Rudolph, gifts...and if we put all the pieces together we can turn them in one word, christmas(I say this while stretch the line). It plays very well, I had good reactions. Now for tv I'm thinking the best way, patter, lines to do this. Any advice, idea? Helder
