I just do not understand why Bill Palmer does not have VIP listed under his name. From all the information Bill has been sharing with us. I am confused. There must be a technical error.

Because VIP would be a disservice to Bill's name? Should be Head VIP!
Your choices in life can be compared to watching a magic trick: You can continue to believe the illusion in front of you, find the intrigue and desire to learn more, or quit paying attention the moment you feel deceived.

I disagree, It should be "Head Guru."

Good point. I guess he needs to publish a book, which seems a little silly to me.

Bill Palmer is Chief Plenipotentiary of the legendary annual secret gathering known as the “Vanishing Ball.”
Try fitting that in the credit lines! Love ya, Bill!!!

The respect and high esteem that WE have for Bill speaks volume! That alone is far greater than any title or acronym any gentleman would care for.
From sunny Manila.... I raise my cup! Cheers and Mabuhay Bill! Rannie

I thank all of you. However, the VIP status belongs to the fellows who come in here for a week or two and share their knowledge on an intense basis. I'm here most of the time. I don't need a VIP doodad under my name.
I am no more important than anyone else on this forum. Without your support, I would not feel driven to post the photos of my cups and keep my web site updated. Quite often, when you ask questions, I have to find the answers. This usually involves a search in my library. If I don't know where it is in my library, then I google it. But YOU help me to continue to learn.

Bill's contribution to magic, especially the C&B genre, cannot be praised enough. He is deserving of our highest praise - and thanks. He gives so unselfishly, so generously, from his storehouse of knowledge. Whether's he's marked VIP or not, he's the real deal...and the patriarch of this clan.

I'll just have to say what I tell all my Scottish friends. I put my kilt on the same way as everyone else -- both legs at once!

You told me that a while ago Bill.
I have no doubt that it is the truth.

I must also show appreciation for Bill Palmer! Bill has helped me IMMENSELY with my knowledge and skills with the Cups & Balls and other things. A true V.I.P. he is...and from what I understand, a V.I.P. has to be a Guest of Honor (on the main page) to qualify. Go to "I want to see the manager!" and start a thread voting for Bill Palmer as Guest of Honor! That helps get their attention, and ya never know, it might happen!
I am so grateful for Bill's help. He is a good friend, and a very knowledgeable magician! Also a great performer! I am going to be looking for a good source soon, to learn the Anderson Newspaper tear, thanks to seeing his performance on YouTube. I also saw his interview with Lee on Cups & Balls, and was VERY impressed! I also learned a great gaffless Scotch & Soda, thanks to Bill. A true great in our time, and we are so fortunate he is part of our little club here! Doug |
