This past Christmas I received an iPad, which is a BIG iTouch unit. Since I am not an Apple kind of guy, it took a month to warm up to the iPad.

Yes, I tried a lots of playful apps and settled for a few good ones.

There are many other posts related to Magic and the iPhone/iPod so hopefully, this thread avoids the Magic part.

First, the best assessory I bought for the iPad is the ZaggMate Keyboard. It is thin, protects the iPad screen, lightweight, and turns the iPad into a mini-computer.
see: http://www.zagg.com/accessories/zaggmate.php

The apps I enjoy are USA Today news, Outliner, and Mobile me.
Mobile me allows me to keep my appointments/shows, on both the iTouch and iPad, synchronized, a good thing to prevent errors and duplications. It for calendars and notes.

Netflix allows me to watch thousands of videos, on the iPad or on my Big Screen TV.

I haven't tried it yet, but I think the remote for my iTouch would work on the iPad so I could easy make it an MP3 player using a presentation apps.

Recently, (Today) I got the MAGIC magazine apps and viewed the first issue and fell in love with this new digital media magazine.

So what non-magical apps do you like for the iPad?

My favorite non-magic apps include:

GoodReader (Document storage and viewing)
Mental Case Flashcards HD (This is the best Flashcard program out there IMHO, especially when synced with its desktop counterpart.)
GameRoom (Lets you play many board games, and has a custom mode for ones not included.)

Oh, and although it's not really an app, I've found that AppShopper.com is very handy for keeping track of apps you buy, and price drops for apps you want, and generally keeping you informed about apps.

Dennis, what exactly do you mean by "keeping your Logitech iTouch keyboard and iPad synchronized"? I wouldn't think a keyboard would need to be synced with anything.

I use a Zaggmate keyboard with my iPad. On the iPad I have the Mobile me and through iTunes, my iPad and iTouch are in sync. If I add a date on my iTouch, it automatically updates the date on my iPad and vice versa. This way I don't have to carry the iPad everywhere. The iTouch is the same thing but much smaller. If I had an iPhone it would work with that. If I had an iPhone, I wouldn't need the iTouch.

What happened in the psat was I would put a date on the iTouch and forget to put it on the iPad, so there was inconsistancies.

You must have misread my post I never mentioned the key pad syncing with anything. The apps Mobile Me keeps track of the entries.
