Hi everyone,
Gazzo has been performing in Bath for the last couple of weekends. If anyone is *anywhere* near Bath then I highly recommend making the trip (you can go on the Bizarre Bath walk in the evening too). |

Better watch that "shaking children," could get him into more trouble if he's not careful.
I remember an old man that used to hang around outside my wife's office holding his hand out to people muttering something incomprehensable that always ended in "pleeeease!" One day he walked up to a group of businessmen coming out and one turned in shock and shouted; "Dad! I told you, not where I work!" -

I remember seeing him float a playing card ... it looking absolutely amazing!
That was until he turned to the side and everyone who had been at the right angle saw that he had stuck the card to the end of his magic wand which was under his arm! |

Wow, Gazzo is right at the top of the Pyramid of GREAT street magicians still working the street.
His ability to draw, hold, entertain, and properly fleese, a crowd is only exceeded by the insulting, berating, and hysterical, manner in which he does it. On the deadest of days, days when no one else could draw an edge, I have seen him pull $100.00 hats, and then do it again, and again.... The guy is brilliant. I hope he makes it to Boston again this year. Best, Dan "MT is one of the reasons we started this board! I saw him perform in Boston, he was great.
He has some great effects, but I don't think everybody would like him, mainly because of the way he insults people. Conjurer |

I spent last Tuesday with Gazzo, and found him to be not only a great guy, but very, very knowledgeable and talented.
I wanted to learn more about the "Three-Card Monte"(for those of you who don't know, he did originally work in a monte mob in 1970 in London)... Well I learned a lot about the original monte, and some moves that I have never seen before, and a lot of very useful card stuff. If any of you happen to meet him, ask him to show you "The Gentlemans Game" We are going to get together again very shortly, I will let you know what goes on.. The Magic Man (Hey Steve, I did bring him to The Cafe, and he was impressed, next time I will get him to say a few words in here) |
