I'm pretty sure this has been covered, but I couldn't bring anything up with a forum search...
I'm looking to buy a dozen or so specialty decks, nothing really strange, just stuff like rainbow backs or all blanks or blank backs. I need a recommendation for an online store that carries a good selection so I can just do a bulk order. I'm also hoping (as usual) to get a decent price. I don't really need effects, just the cards. Thanks, BillM |

BMPOKERWORLD.COM These two have internet stores on their own and also Ebay stores. Some sellers (52-and-jokers, hikeeba) only have Ebay stores but are worth joining to buy from if you are not a member. |

You can of course try the traditional magic daelers.
If your on eBay you can find what your looking for there as well.

Thanks. At dealers, I'm seeing something like $10 a pack (all blank, for example) which seemed steep, but I don't really know.

That's a lot. Try ebay then.
Here's an interesting rainbow type deck: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie......0wt_1141 I see your from Midlan, are you a DOW guy?

Well, the town is a Dow town, and by extension, everyone who lives here is a "Dow person." My wife and son both work there. Thankfully, I'm a freelancer -- independently unemployed. I write for a living, magic for fun. One of the nice things about being a freelancer is that you set your own schedule. So I've got room to fit busking or walk-around in as a sideline. Some amateur market research tells me there's opportunity.

When I lived in Michigan, I worked on the DOW business for an Ad Agency there.

I just ordered some cards from Penguin, after looking at several other sources.
Their shipping isn't the cheapest, but the prices are good, and they have just about everything. (Single source makes it convenient!) http://www.penguinmagic.com/siteindex.php says it lists everything in the store. Their IDs are $7.50 and blank (single sides) are $7.95.

Yes, everyone should order from penguin magic. They are the best when it comes to supplying cards.
Forget about that bm poker world site. |

I've ordered from bmpokerworld and was very pleased with the selection, prices and service. Of course, your mileage may vary. I doubt there's a dealer anywhere who doesn't have disgruntled customers. Shop around. I listed a few sites one could consider.

That was my attempt at reverse psychology. Truth be told I did not want bmpoker world to get around at all. Their selection is way ahead of any magic online retailer.

Sent an order to Penguin late Saturday night, and got the package in Thursday morning's mail, less than four working days; just regular shipping, no special handling. And they threw in a bag of M&M’s just for fun. I LOVE PENGUIN!
Disclaimer: I am not associated with Penguin Magic in any way or receive any benefits, tangible or otherwise from that company (although I should probably try to cut a deal… I did look at BMPOKERWORLD, and while the selection is HUGE, I couldn’t find any “gaffed” cards. For Merz67, I liked their shipping rates on small quantities: $2.50 for first item, $1.50 for each additional. Almost bought from them, but they didn’t quite have everything I was looking for. A very close second, though!
