Great collection. I love the Hartz,I'm a big fan of Conrad's work, and this one's a classic. Which one's your favorite?

Thank you. Ditto on Conrad's figures, I love mine. I had another one but sold him because I just could not get him to work for me, a character that is, but I still had a hard time parting with him.

Favorite? That's tough.
Like I said, I love the Hartz.
Scotty, he has a special place for me because he was the first in this "collection", (not my first pro figure, but that's another story), and the first of them I got to perform with.
My little Rudy there, again, very special because he was the first vent figure I created.
But Hannibal would have to stand out as number 1 because he is what I call my "dream figure". I had his character, his voice, everything, fully developed first, then I had someone make a figure to fit that character, and for icing on the cake, he was made for me by someone who was a very good friend (who unfortunately is no longer with us, so that adds a little more "specialness to the figure, something to hold on to from my friend).

So while I have no plans to part with any of them, if for some reason I had to, those four would not even be considered, I will have them until my time is up.
That's the closest I can come to picking a favorite.

I should have used the couch instead of the loveseat, it was tricky getting them all arranged.

I think the photo on the loveseat is better than a couch; using a couch would spread out the figures and widen the shot; the faces and body would be smaller; also widening the shot makes more of the background visible, taking away from the focus.

I think the photo is very nice as is.

Thank you, and I think you're right, the couch would have had them too spread out, and I did know I wanted a tight grouping so that the picture would be filled with just them as much as possible.
It's working great as a wallpaper on my computer.

Steve,
boy are you quick. I was going to ask the same thing about listing the figure makers and was going to test myself to see how many I got correct. I did get 7 of the 10 correct before I saw the answer.

Yay! Someone else posted their family pics!

They are a great looking group Donald!
Who made the one in the first pic, the one in the back with the denim vest on? From what I can see of the hands, they look Hartz-ish.

OK Donald,

Now its your turn to put up all the makers with their respective figures/puppets. If it is easier to do, you can just reload a pic and then give it a Left to Right, Top to Bottom call out.

Wow Woody,

If you could have all that money at one time, you could buy an island in the south pacific and lay on the beach all day drinking your favorite (soft drinks) with little umbrellas all day long. This is impressive. My next question is: Did you remember to have them all appraised and have a rider on your homeowners policy? It would be a disaster if something happened without one.

Name your practice figure; he looks sad with no name and he can’t even look at the camera.

This may have to be reported to the county Ventriloquist figure care services

It is a nice photo; you do have a very nice Dickens family of figures

Great idea! I just took my vent figure to my office and put him on a ledge.

Maybe we ought to have a little contest here in this thread and submit names!

That's what I'm hoping will happen, what I was hoping when I started this thread, that they'll keep coming.

Hahaa, yes, I guess it would take more than one or two pics to get yours all in.
