I have been using Trevor's deck dropper in my act now for several months, and I must say this is one of the best accessory's I have used in a long time. the Dropper is made of durable plastic, is well constructed; comes with two pins, for right sleeve and left sleeve placement and an instructional DVD, and is a dream to use and operate. I love the fact that I can produce a deck of cards from my finger tips at any point in my act without having to go into my pocket. This is a must have Item for anyone doing the invisible deck, the reaction I get from the audience every time the deck is thrown to me and it magically appears at my fingertips, without having to go to my pocket, is priceless. Also, doing a deck switch in conjunction with a topit is effortless, no more having to go into my pocket to swap decks out as it is done in front of the spectator eyes.

this is an awesome product that should be in every card workers arsenal.
here are the pros and cons of the Deck Dropper.

Pros:

well constructed of heavy plastic.
two safety Pins provided for both left sleeve and right sleeve placement, anchors on both sides of the dropper.
silent easy to operate release mechanism.
easy to reload without having to take jacket off.
comes with excellent instructional mini disk.

Cons:

the only one I can think of is it may not fit in tight fitting jacket sleeves.

Well, nunusmith, I completely agree. This device does exactly what it is supposed to do.

I also have one and I must say that with the production for instance of an invisible deck, it is so strong to the audience htey have no idea wherwe it came from, they throw the invisible deck to you and you catch it - visibly. Pure amazement and easy to do - and then of course you hit them a 2nd time with the invertd cards. One of my best buys ever.

Great prop...anyone else using this to produce anything else? Would love it if it was just a hair bigger to fit a jumbo coin.

For a jumbo coin I use Pat Page's Sleeve dropper. It is fantastic for a jumbo coin. Easy to load and easy to deliver. He use to sell them at his lectures. He passed away, don't know the relatives will continue to make them or not.

I bought one of these about a year ago, but had to send it back. It was a disappointment because it was very nice product. BUT it was not clear from the description that it only works with a deck that is in its case. This is fine for its original purpose, to deliver a [cased] deck down your sleeve. But I hoped to use it in a different position with an uncased deck. Unfortunately the difference of 1-2mm width meant the cards were not securely retained. A great shame, because it would only require a slight redesign for it to work with either cased or uncased cards.
[Also it goes without saying, it would not work with narrower cards, eg Bridge size. And these too could be accommodated by a slight re-design.]
Maybe one day there will be a mark 2 version.
