Due to the popularity there is now a life size Crystal Head vodka decanter...twice the size of the old one.
I picked one up over the holidays. Very heavy.

I found the pocket knife, a "mustache" razor*, some clips for a belt, a photo with a sidecar, and some other props this morning.
All from the same era. And a wooden "Dr Termans" zeppelin...

The Russians still make a sidecar motorcycle that looks just like that you know. The Ural.

Nothing really to do with your routine, just kind of cool. The companies been around a long time and hasn't changed much. They're inexpensive too.

Oh, one more thing:
My friends and I all have whips made by Royce Vallejo, who was David Morgan's apprentice. David Morgan (and his apprentices) made all of the Indiana Jones whips.
One thing we always have in our whip bag is extra whip crackers (or string to make them out of.) I think anyone who uses a whip for anything would have the same.

One of my friends has an Ural too. The model is based on a German pre-WWII BMW motorcycle.
I've 2 old whips that perfectly fit in the set and an old deck of playing cards. I just ordered an original photo of a Clipper.
I'll make some more photos later.

There are several original printings of Carl Friedrich H. Werner (produced by G.W. Seitz, printed c.1874) in the set.
They really add a nice visual atmosphere.

A membership card for The Adventurers Club as well as an invitation to the 1937 New Year's Eve Party/Membership Drive, both signed by Merriweather Adam Pleasure.

Till now, I've 3 effects linked to an adventurers club.

- How to detect a trap.
- How to detect a cursed object.
- How to detect a Lucky Charm item.

Sadly, the AC on Pleasure Island at Walt Disney World is no more, but it spawned an annual gathering of friends and fans. I learned of the AC very late in its lifespan, but made up for lost time with many visits in the couple of years prior to the bad decision that led to the closing of the club. Walking into the upper level of the club and just looking at the many items on the walls was inspiration enough for stories and routines of my own. Of course, the Club Members' interactions and shows absolutely made the place worthy of the attention that it received both consistently and in the last days of operation.

Indy's visit was the last-show punchline to a running joke for one very specific character, but of course the era and decor made every bit of sense in the world that he would be in attendance on any given night.

My daughter learned a version of the song so that she can sing it in the event that we run into any of the AC Cast Members appearing in another role in Walt Disney World Smile

Thanks for the memories Chris!
I loved the shrinking bar stools. Bartenders could slowly imperceptibly lower your stool until your date was looming over you.
So much fun was to be had there.

Good idea. I need a 1930's / 1940's version.

From his scruffy appearance I get the impression that he doesn't get to use the razor much Smile
