I have subscribed to unpublished magic tutorials by magic at the red sea. There is a reason they are unpublished. They are very difficult to follow for various reasons depending on the video. The recent one is Gregory's routine though. Want to incorporate it into my coin act. Just need to watch the video a couple dozen other times. His routine does use one chip though. This routine is killer!

I come back to this "old" routine since it really desserves to be part of a closeup show.
I am just annoyed by the coin purse provided by Greg Wilson. The leather is so slippery that I cannot make it to stay on the spectator's shoulder. I would'nt use blue tack on it nor sticky material (the spectator is supposed to handle it during the routine). Did anyone fix this issue ? I am thinking of using another coin purse with a softer leather but the one I found is bigger than the one provided by Greg (perfect size for palming eventhough correct misdirection allows you to handle it without fear). Thanks for sharing your hints with me ! Chris (France) |

I see the last post was from a while back, but when I purchased this Greg mentioned roughing up one side of the coin purse to make it less slippery. I don't do this often enough to comment if that helps in all situations or not though.
