Personally I learn best when using all kinds of sources. Books are great because they usually have a wealth of information and details that can't be included in a DVD. My collection of books is not very large but I am pleased with it.
On the other hand I do like to learn from DVD's because of the ability to re-play the information. I have recently stopped buying single prop effects, I have been concentrating on sleight of hand and any tools that can be used for multiple performances. Twist |
