Recently unveiled at "Magi-Fest" in Columbus Ohio "Telethought Wallet II" was met with great success! Imagine you can reveal any information that is written on a card by a spectator and then inserted face down into a sleek black wallet. Numbers, words or even a small drawing, the information is delivered secretly, ingeniously, and imperceptibly to the performer. The gimmick is completely undetectable, ingeniously designed and now inside the wallet! It’s one of those rare effects that you will want to have with you at all times! "Truly, the best just got better". "Telethought Wallet II" will be showcased on the Elmwood Magic booth at the Blackpool Magic Convention.

Tony,

Is the difference between new and old where the gimmick is situated?
Or are there others?

Thanks Tony, looking forward to this. And the fact that Elmwood is showcasing the wallet is just great. They are the best!

Its exclusive to Elmwood for Blackpool so you will not see it at any other dealer booth.

I own the original Telethought wallet.

I'm starting to get annoyed that soon after I buy the first version of a trick a better, second version is released (e.g. Assassin, Extreme Burn, Instant Radio, Coinvexed)

Why not get it right first time round?

I guess I'll just buy a cheap leather bus ticket wallet and transfer the gimmick over.

On second thoughts I think this new version is weaker.

The card needs to be inserted face up and therefore relies on the spec to place the card in the wallet while the magician turns his back. There's a risk the spectator, or someone near the spectator will suss the method.

The original allows the card to be inserted face down, meaning the magician can have more control i.e. do it himself.

Sometimes change isn't for the better.

I guess the cat is out of the bag!

Yes, we will have the nee Telethought II at the booth and it is a beauty…

Andi: The card is inserted face DOWN not face up. As for "new versions" being released, I can understand your feelings, but as the Jean-Luc points out above developments happen. It’s not a question of getting it wrong the first time...it’s about improving on the existing idea. Hope you’ll stop by the booth to see it in action!

Is the gimmick part the same as the original , I'm hoping that it is improved, I have been faced with lighting issues, but I do like the idea that the spec can handle the wallet , it adds another layer of fairness, much like the Zingg wallet.
How about the cost ?

Paul, I trust your judgement. I bought Truth and Practical Thinking from you last year and they are both fantastic. I am looking forward to seeing TW2 in action, I'm intrigued now you've said the card is inserted face down. What other beauties will you be bringing along to Blackpool this year?

I have it and the card is definitely inserted face down. Well worth the money and I like version ii a lot.

Is the card inserted into a pocket on the outside of the wallet? Then visible through the window on the inside?

That's one thought. It would mean opening the wallet after insertion though. Not good.

My other thought is that the wallet is bent around so the window is underneath (i.e. on the outside). That way the card can be inserted face down and the p*** gained as the wallet is closed shut.

I guess we'll have to wait and see unless emyers99 or Paul spills the beans in advance.

Talking about spilling the beans I hope Paul is aware of this video and gets it removed, and quickly!!!......

That is correct, but remember the spectator will see nothing even if if you show them the inside of the wallet.
