Yes, you open the wallet to remove a business card or whatever else you need. But NOTHING is visible to the spectator, just like in the old version. It's a terrific wallet.

I like it better because the window is not the on the outside of the wallet. Looks more natural. Plus, you can find plenty of motivation to open the wallet.

Sorry for not responding sooner guys - very busy gearing up for Blackpool.

You can easily reopen the wallet just to remove another business card to write down a prediction.

I actually have a couple of approaches that give justification for opening the wallet again. You can see me do them behind the booth at the convention. But here's a few in brief:

I open the wallet to pull my business card out of the window. I hand it to them and ask that they write down any 3 digit number and place it face down into the outer pocket of the wallet. I now open the wallet again and bring attention to a folded bill. I pull the bill out and ask the spectator, “Would you be impressed if your number was written across the face of this bill?” They generally yes, and I open the bill to reveal the words “Your Number” written across the face. This gets a laugh, or at the very least a groan, and I follow up immediately by saying, “I know that’s not too funny. I’m not a comedian; I’m a mind-reader. It would be so much more amazing if I could look you square in the eyes and tell you your number was ___.” Of course, inserting the thought of number in place of the blank.

Of course this could be used to reveal almost anything, not just a number.

I do a similar effect using a 52 on 1 card and having the spectator write down the name of any card. In that case, you could use an index or an invisible deck for the reveal as well. Shaun Dunn suggested the idea of having the spectator say stop as I moved my finger around the face of the 52 on 1 - and then showing I stopped right on the selected card.

What’s nice with these approaches is that the spectator sees the window still empty when I re-open the wallet (of course no attention should be brought to that) but I’m getting the info right in front of them! I also think the bill and the 52 on 1 helps pull attention away from the wallet for the reveal.

This looks great.

I didn't get to go to Blackpool.
Any UK dealers going to be stocking this soon?

Does anyone know where this will be available - and when?

I checked Elmwood and they only have the original listed when I searched today.

I saw the new 2 page ad in Magic Magazine and they show that you can order directly from Chris Kenworthy. I want one!

Will this stay exclusive with Elmwood or will Murphy's and all the rest have it?

You don't need the "gimmick" if the p33k is inside the wallet. A couple years ago when I bought two wallets that used the same optical tech I placed the gimmick in the Stealth Assassin wallet and thought I was pretty clever. But then I realized there's no need to shield the view inside the wallet.

I noticed on TT 2 the card is slid face down on the outside which is a difference from the Stealth Assassin wallet as you have to open the wallet to insert the business card.

Murphy's Magic will have them later this year when the IBM & SAM conventions have taken place.

In the Magic Magazine ad this month there is an address to order the wallets directly (I believe) from Chris Kenworthey.

Is he selling them now direct before the conventions/Murphy's?

Thanks BTW Tony and hope you are enjoying living in paradise!

I'm a little confused. What is the advantage of having the 'gimmick' inside the wallet? I thought that the strength of the gimmick was that it could be in full view, in front of the spectator, with no time restrictions?

A momentary glance of an open wallet doesn't seem as strong to me, as it seems it would be under utilizing the entire design of the 'gimmick'.

Yes, like I stated on page 1- you wouldn't need the optical gimmick if your p33ks inside the wallet ala Stealth Assassin. That's why I discarded my idea as without merit because you shouldn't flash the p33k window.

Just curious if there have been improvement to the angles of view here - or is the improvement mainly in the construction of the wallet?

Cameron or Dave-

I messed around yesterday with a friend's original Telethought and I found that the lighting had to be super bright. I'm just wondering how you guys handle this - do you only use it in known strong lighting conditions? I was hoping the II incarnation might improve on the visability.

I do not own either. Only played with them a bit. Can't remember what the lighting was like. But I remember that it seemed to be more of an angle thing than a light thing.
