I am planning a series of postcard mailings to market my stand-up comedy mindreading show and then my strolling close-up services.
My cards are designed and I am compiling a mailing list of Country Clubs and Event Planners. What is a good way to obtain a list of event planners and/or entertainment buyers for Excel download? Any experiences with companies to use for printing and mailing the cards? |

InfoUSA is a great choice.
To automate the actual postcard mailing, you may want to try: https://click2mail.com/ I do all of the mailings for my hypnosis show through them, and they save me a ton of work. Pretty economical, and very, very simple.

Do either of these services allow you to upload your own mailing list? I didn't notice that option on their sites.

Click2mail definitely does. You can upload your design, and your list. In fact, you can store multiple postcards and multiple lists, and then access/use them at any time.

Click2Mail also has a pretty good variety for postcard options. (ie: color or black and white, glossy, or non-glossy, double or single-sided. Different sizes, Etc.)
For me, it definitely beats the days of printing the cards on my color laser printer, trying to tear the so-called "micro-perfs" cleanly, and then putting postage and lables on them myself. For a 500+ mailing list, that took me hours. Now, I log in, pick the card and the list from my account, preview it, and hit send. About 10 minutes start to finish.
