Great instructional DVD on how to perform Rizer!
Effect: Two cards are chosen from a deck. Using a magic marker, you draw one of the spectators cards on your forearm. You then touch the card you have drawn and shake...The other card Rizes out of the one you have drawn...on your skin! Real magic marker and is fully examinable afterward. About ten years ago I had the ace of spades tattooed on my arm to reveal a spectators card. I am having my tattoo redone so I can perform this trick...I think it is an awesome piece of magic!
Magic exists in the moment!

I agree with you, however I also agree with Craig petty from Wizard Product Review, they kinda pointed out some interesting facts about Rizer. To be honest I really love the effect, however if its not performed for the right crowd in the right way, is like watching a balloon fly around the room as it loses air before it hits the ground. My only problem is that I love the way the "Rizer" card looks when its drawn a bit bigger, it gives it a more dramatic animated effect, but again if it doesn't raise correctly it totally gives the method away and looks really bad. When drawing a smaller "rizer" card it looks cleaner and works much smoother, however doesn't have the same impact as drawing a larger "rizer" card, if you follow what I'm saying. All in all I say the effect is amazing when performed in the right conditions. I've always been a fan of drawing things that change into other things kinda of magic, I mean hell my name came from a type of drawing, and I also have tattoo's but not of cards....yet. I think I'd rather stick to the sharpie method, only cuz if its a tattoo then that may give away the method a bit easier, the fact of you just drawn something that was wrong, and is now right and it happened in front of there face is a solid effect. I give it a solid out of 5 smiley faces.
