I bet they make the cup through cup move a cinch though!

If you're not careful, you might even do an ungaffed Cup through Table.

The Sisti CNC cups are pretty heavy, but the Busby Fox CNC are just a little heavier.

Well my shoulder is a tad sore still , but it's not from spinning . It seems I am just getting old. I am a bit behind with things on the spinning front as I have had loads of gigs.
While my shoulder repairs I have been make some test bits in aluminum which is easy to spin. One was a fake bit (Tube) to add to one cup that make it look like a stack of three ,so one could load a banana . I alway ask the people to name a fruit and they nearly always shout banana. That said switching it in may be clumsy . Another was a fake top down to the first bead which is rolled out to fit over the mouth of a cup to make it look empty ( probably a daft idea) . The final test was a Gary Animal street devil chop cup. I made one a few weeks ago (actually two ) from copper with the inner bit ending in the beads as is common ,I think? One has a magnet in it that is to strong and the other is perfect. That said I hate this method ,so today I made a prototype chop cup from two whole skins off aluminum . It involved extra chucks and a different technique ,but the result is seamless The two skins are rolled over to make the mouth bead. It's perfect and worth the effort . The next one will be spun from two .8 mm copper circles. It should then end up about the same weight . Pictures on magicpitch.co.uk later

The report on the knockoffs is now on the museum site at http://69.89.31.132/~cupsandb/museum/ms2011.htm

There is a link to it on the gateway page, as well.

I apologize for taking so long to get this material posted.

I'll be sending the cups to Gary for his "finishing touches."

You need a disclaimer on those photos. It's like looking at a crime scene.
Perfectly good copper - wasted.

It was one thing for the spinner to pinch Gary's basic design, albeit with a different shoulder bead. Well, with THREE different shoulder beads, but the personal attacks on Gary and his cups were completely uncalled for.

He hasn't sold anything on ebay.co.uk for the past two weeks. The listing for the cups is gone. I doubt that he will have the chutzpah to relist anything having to do with magic.

Magic Researcher seemed to think that none of us who collect would be able to resist these cups. Not so. I wouldn't have purchased these without Gary Animal's permission. I'll be sending them to Gary, as I mentioned, so he can "fine tune" them.

Actually, I recall a post to the effect that the collectors wouldn't be able to resist having these cups in spite of their shady origins. It was vile, and it was vitriolic. I asked the staff to remove it, because it was flaming.

However, now that it's gone, I can't prove it existed. I wish I'd saved it.
