Jay scott Berry has a handling that fools even magicians. Its his handling and the way he conceals this otherwise invicible tool. A video series called Rules of Thumb is a great source too.

The point that Bill Palmer mentioned is the one I always use.

For me the thumb tip should not really fit as you have to put something in it afterwards.
