I'm just finding out the story and just so you know, after tests and treatments for a few weeks now the great Philippine Dr., Jose Tongle, told me this morning the cancer Ive got is not curable. He said he didn't want to make me lose my hair with chemo when it would do no good (no wise cracks). He's not letting any of this get in the way. He started writing another book and a couple new songs. I can't see him going out any other way than doing what he loves.
No trees were killed in the making of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Haven't checked this thread in a few days. Devestated by what Dave V. posted. His willingness to go on, even though his Dr. says the fight is lost is so encouraging to those of us who are fighting a curable form of this monster.

I am devastated as well. I have talked with Tabby many times, and badly wanted a chance to meet him. We share an interest in music as well as magic. I thought that chance might be at Bob's Magic Flea Market last year, but I didn't get to go due to my mother's health issues. (Another thing Tabby and I have in common) I surely hope he can beat this thing. Tabby, me and my family are praying for you, and I added you to our church's prayer list.

Just home off airplane and online here first time in many days. Spent two days visiting Tabby. He's upbeat... went back into hospital today for a week of radiation therapy. Will be keeping touch with his wife. For more updates go to Facebook and search tabby crabb.

I'm sad to report that Tabman passed away yesterday afternoon at home in Georgia.
It is a real loss to those who knew him. RIP |
