I've been out of magic for about 18 years and I'm looking to get back into it. A few days ago I remembered a stage/parlor effect that's about 20urs old and I'm trying to hunt it down. It looked like it may have been produced by Mak or some company like that. The effect involved a large spool with thin red rope wrapped around it. It also involved a large needle about 16" long and about as thick as a pencil. You would place the end of the needle with the "eye" into the hole in the top of the spool and when you removed it the end of the thread would be threaded through the needle. It's really hard to hunt for something when you don't even have a name for it. Can anyone help?
