Hi Folks,
The ad for Roger Klause's Ultimate Slow Motion Bill Transposition sound really great (don't they always). My question is this, I live in England where our paper currency is different from each other. Our £5 notes are totally different size and colour to say a £10 note. Is Klauses method just based on the UF Grant version, or can it be done with non US Bills? Thanks in advance, Iain. |

Iain, The Klause “Slow Motion Bill Transposition” is based on Grant’s “Bill Switch”. While it is based on the older version, Klause has taken it to higher level. It has become a self-contained wonder in his hands. I doubt if Grant would recognize it as having come from his idea.
It can be made in almost any countries folding money. The only requirement that I can think of is that the bills be basically the same size or at least can be folded to the same size. Different colors would actually enhance the effect. Personally I use a bill transposition called “Beswitched” (Al Cohen’s handling and $5.00 USD from Hanklee.com). This is the version that Eugene Berger uses (and performed in his lecture). It can also be made in almost any currency. The Klause version has the bill folded to eights, which is a fairly large portion of bill. Be Switched has the bill folded into fourths! That is an even bigger section of bill being seen. It is very visible. The downside to Beswitch is that it requires more handling to look clean at the end than does Klause’s version. The Klause version appears very clean at the end. Neither version can be handed out for examination. Hope this helps.

Is this the version that is in Roger's "In Concert"? Does anyone know if it's on video anywhere? Gonna have to go through my old Stephen's VHS tapes I think.
...NSA John McLaughlin, not CIA John McLaughlin
