Ok, is this a joke? Now, he sounds like he is possibly quoting someone as he precedes some of these statements with "he says . . ." Do people actually think like this? Yeah, let's make a "decent housing" a right. That should create plenty of jobs, for people to build houses. It's THAT simple! We just have to demand they do it by making it a "right." If a "right" can go away just by not having people to fill the necessary jobs, then it's not a "right." What good is "universal health care" if no one's willing to be a doctor? Or, as is often the reality in many places in canada, simply not enough people taking the job. What's the contingency plan? Force people to be doctors? That's just one isolated example, but it they actually tried to "fix" things by making them all rights like this, it would be a problem spanning nearly every industry. I imagine the inevitable "solution" would be assigning people their "careers" to prevent having a lacking supply in a desired field. Any who, enough of the rant, seriously, was this a joke? Or wildly out of context perhaps? What am I missing?

Lovely, here's an unedited video, but it's a 30 min speech. Apparently quoting a letter written to him. I have no desire to listen to 30 minutes of him though. I'm going to tentatively assume the initial was vastly out of context. Though I don't doubt there is some support behind the basic "ideas."

The indicator was Jackson say 'he says' and 'he further says', refering to oneself in the third person is very baseball but to refer to yourself as 'he' is a stretch.

What politician is that? I love whacky politicians.
I wish I had a video of a woman I worked with who we fired that then became a city councilwoman in San Jose. I thought it was very funny that they elected her in my sister in laws neighborhood. She got up to talk at a meeting and went into a rant refering to the Asian community as 'crazy old chinamen' and said Indians were "more like bulldogs than humans". For some reason they tossed her out of office, just because her district was 90% Asian and Indian (and yes I know Indians are considered Asian). |

Here is an article that I deleted the name of my former coworker from since she is a private person now.
San Jose (CA) City Councilwoman Kathy X recently was removed from office after angering constituents with remarks and gestures which were offensive to Latinos, Asians and gays. x, who represented the Evergreen District in southeastern San Jose for 15 months, became the first council member in the city's history to be voted out of office. A total of 59.2 percent of voters favored her recall. X 47, made the remarks last May during an African American leadership conference. X said that Latinos sought power "like little pitbulls," then tugged at the corner of her eyes to symbolize Asian features and intimated that Asian Americans and gays got special treatment at City Hall. Superior Court Judge Ladoris Cordell, a Black official who was outraged by X's remarks, brought the closed doors statement to light by publicly reprimanding X and providing local media with video tapes of the councilwoman's actions ------------------------ So the hispanics were pit bulls....she made some other comments too. I have to hand it to Kathy, I had heard her say a heck of a lot worse! |

Gdw what you said here and I quote "I imagine the inevitable "solution" would be assigning people their "careers" to prevent having a lacking supply in a desired field." Unquote. Is quite possibly the direction that the U.S. is trying to head if we keep going further into socialist ways once a very much stronger socialist government is made. Communism may not be that far behind. Assigning people their careers is the type of thing that former communist countries like Russia. Bulgaria, Hungry on and on did. It's a very real threat that could happen. The threat of communism even tho lessened after the ending of the cold war era still does not mean that it can't happen. If we continue on as we are we may within the next 2 to thirty years "or less" become a communist run nation before most of us even know what hit us. Hopefully since the Republican's have regained some power since the last elections this past November some of this can be reversed and the rest stopped or at least put on a very short leash.
Yes as inyour other vid posted here the Republican's have some out there nutty members as well too the Republican's aren't all sane either. But have to wonder if this was all an act? Politics is nothing more than show business anymore. So was he acting or is he really missing a few screws as he seems? I suppose that could be said about both vids however. Wow I actually pretty much agree with you on Jackson Jr's being crazy here. THAT'S A SHOCK! Please everyone remember this date. I'm more than shocked and stunned. |

Ok, that was weird. I swear my brain kept trying to rearrange the words in your post as it simply could not process you agreeing with me, lol.

Ha! Kathy's statements are being mellowed by the press. She is a funny woman but not intentionally, the stuff she said was amazing. We had a black engineer at work who was extremely serious and stiff. He was very disliked by the few other black employees including Kathy and out of the blue she told him very loudly that he was 'nothing but a souless n***** even if you don't realize it'. She also, at a council meeting, made comments about turbans on men. She was just mean and she believed everything she said. She had an ongoing war with another worker who was from Korea because his belief was Koreans were the superior race and he would tell people that and Kathy felt they were inferior. They would just glare at each other.

Yeah... the Korean guy once came up to me with some paperwork and the math was wrong on them. This was when long invoices were still typed rather than computer generated (yes kids, we use to type and have to do math). I have this weird knack for running large numbers in my head and seeing errors and I did on the invoice and checked it and found the errors. When the fellow came down for copies of the invoice with flight details later I told him to watch his math. He looked at me as if I slapped him and said "It is impossible, I am Korean and we are superior to you.". I informed him that he was a dumb mutha %@#%@## and if he was an example of the superiority of his people then they must be some stupid arse people and if he ever claimed to be superior to me again I'm show him how inferior he really was. That was in 1984 and we worked at the same company until 2006 and he never EVER spoke another word to me. He now works for my sister in the same job he had in 1984 that he claimed was 'only few month until I get executive job'. Of course that is better than my none job.
Note: I'd never tell Kathy off because she was seriously crazy and would have hit me. |
