Omit snapping your fingers before spreading the cards at the end, since that gesture is meant to convey that the "magic" happens right at that moment. WAY too much time has passed between the "shuffle" and the reveal for the finger snap to have any meaning at all [for the audience].
In fact, forget about pretending you are performing any real magic; virtually every audience you ever encounter will view this routine as an exhibition of card-handling skill, NOT a demonstration of magical powers - making the finger-snap gesture seem out of context and, frankly, kind of "dorky".
