Got this today and steadily working my way through it
The 4 card trick at the beginning of the book made me smile so I'm sure there's many more gems to be found |

After they tear the cards I say, " You struggled doing that, very challenging right?...something very similar ...like.. a relationship" This trick...it's a real fooler and one I will use, I have a couple pages of ideas in my journal just for that effect alone. |

It's rare these days when I find one effect in a book I can put in my show...I found three and I haven't yet finished reading it through.

Although I was aware of many of the effects in this book from other texts there's some great stuff in here especially Maverick and Gilbreath Detective
Just out of interest can anyone post the contents list of Woody's spanish language books Cosas Mia's and A La Carta. I'd be interested to know what has been missed from the english language book as I may well be tempted to learn spanish. Also on the subject of semi automatic card magic anyone know what is happening with the english language book of Ramon Rioboo's work ? I heard this was going to be released by Hermetic Press sometime this year |

"A Cachitos" is not published in any book, because it's a packet trick I sell in my lectures. But, if you like, write me an e-mail to woody@woodyaragon.com and I'll explain you anything you want to know Woody |

Not to distract from Woody's excellent book but does anyone know when the english language book of Ramon Rioboo will be released ? I read in Steve Beam's Semi Automatic series that a book was in the work by Stephen Minch

This is an excellent book with some very strong routines.
A few credits that are worth mentioning that didn't appear in the book. I'm 99% sure it was Ali Bongo who came up with the idea of using a written prediction for Shuffle Bored. In Ali's handling the prediction was printed. Lennart Green prefers a hand written prediction as he feels it looks more impromptu. Phase Two of the Ten Card Deal should be credited to Tony Binarelli (see his book "Class Act") and the subtlety used in Phase Three is Tony Griffith's and published by him first in the 1960's "Griff On Cards" published by Supreme Magic Co. |

Quoting Craig: "Things went my way..."
They did, admittedly, but actually it would always look the same as the deck will not touched again as soon as the final card is chosen. BTW, the book is full of small typos, not sure if it's worthwhile to track them all down and send them to the publisher? Maybe we should open up another thread and do a collective clean-up in order to improve a second editiion?
