I am doing a little research and I am looking for Zodiac based routines which are on the market or in print. I am aware of all of the branching anagram ideas for deriving a sign and the various permutations of that idea. I am also aware of Christian Chelman's use of the zodiac wheel in Capricornian Tales. T.A. Waters has an idea or two in Mind, Myth & Magick. What else am I missing?

Paul, there are dozens of methodologies that I am aware of, some using coins, some cards, some other objects, some no objects. Not sure it is my right to share others work though, if you know what I mean.

Christian,
Thanks. I am aware of the ones using the anagrams. Some of the others (which may or may not use them) I am not familiar with. Thanks for those references. Tony, Sorry if I wasn't clear. I am not looking for methods, just routines involving the zodiac. Lary, Thanks. |

Off the top of my head, in addition to what has already been mentioned:
Ascension – Joshua Quinn (fantastic and original concept for sign divination and more) Astro Disks – Jim Magus (Book of routines and disks) Astro Sense – (Multi person sign divination) Astrology for the Psychic Entertainer - Richard Webster (book on astrology and applications and routines for psychic entertainers) Astrological Sign - Edwardo Kozuch (Sign divination using a notebook) In The Zone – Tony Iacoviello (book of new and improved methodology, routines and scripts, limited distribution) Thebatical– Max Maven (bundled book of star signs and presentation) Zodiac Sensation – CW (wonderful matching sign effect) Zodiaction(?) – Max Maven (Stage pick a sign routine) Zodiac ESP (sign matching card routine)   Tony |

Remember the impromptu version of Chester Sass "Zodiac" in his book "120% Chestosterone".
A method without props absolutley impromptu. |

My "Astro-Logical Revisited" is a version of a much older effect called "Astro-Logical." It is a close-up table routine. The spectator moves a marker around the zodiac circle, with the performer predicting the final position. It is in The New Invocation, #76. This is difficult to find because it was not part of the earlier segment of Invos that were reprinted.
I now have another (unpublished) version that is slightly modified from the published version.

Take a look at Isabella's Star. It's written up as a stage effect - but is easily adapted for other circumstances. http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=15

Dan Harlan has a neat little sign divination using some really unique props/cards called "Your Sign" on one of the premium blend DVD's, 'Good Spirits'.
