Love it! I always thought Tarot would be a great tool for storytelling as it has all the main characters. Good stuff

I really like this one! Using the same plot, you could use different tarot decks with different character-types to tell the same type of story, but with a different theme. This is almost like a reverse Cannibal Cards effect. Very nice!

Just want to point out that this story could be adapted for use with a regular deck of cards. Just use the 4 kings or 4 jacks to reprsent the 4 brothers, and the ace of spades or joker to represent the Lord of Deception -- the Devil.

I guess people still haven't gotten the reference I posted almost 4 years ago...
This effect is Bob Neale's "Kind and Gentle Stranger", found in his book "Life, Death, and Other Card Tricks." And yes, it was originally done with regular cards as descibed in the book. Not sure why David hasn't mentioned this already.... |
