Hi Gang!
I am looking to having some new Full-Color Postcards made, but was wondering if anyone out there has a tip for a Good Quality Printer at reasonable rates? Thanks! =Frank=

I use Vistaprint. Depending on the quantity you want, you can order 100 "free" over and over and over .... you generally are charged $5-$7 per order for shipping. That's 5-7 cents per card, which is not bad.

I just got a shipment of flyers and coupons in from http://gotprint.net/ and they are amazing.
Best price I found and great quality! Lucas |

Normally I to woudl recomend Got print however I just hung up the phone with them and deeply disapointed with them. the customer service was horrible and they totally screwed me over!
Ihave use them before but seriously thinking of moving on. I do a lot of printing for others and use multiple companies that provide great product and great customer service and thought got print might be a nice addition but not so much now! as for vista print they are ok but the quality is not on the same level as others. its good don't get me wrong they just happen to be the biggest out there so lots of people use them. but they have lots of hoops you have to jump thru. good luck where ever you go.

I use printplace.com alot. always been happy. havent shopped around for awhile though. (but I like on their site that its easy to make changes - ie. size, and run size), and the price updates instantly. I get promos for free shipping often as well.

I also would put in a good word for OverNightPrints.com. As a graphic deisgner, I have used them many times in the past for my clients and they have great customer service and can hold the color much better then others can.

I used Got print before to see how they would be compared to the printers I use. I do a lot of design work for other magicians and businesses and the printers I use have a great track record
what happend with me is this I uploaded my order and on one of the items my own personal biz card a fold over tent style card was noted as having a problem. the email read- Hello Sam, Thank you for your interest in our services. The folding edge on the front file does not line up with the folding edge on our template. The left panel needs to be moved slightly to the right. Please download a template from the website to compare If you have any question, please email us at info@gotprint.com with your order number. Thank you once again I responded imediatley telling them that there is no problem but would up load it again to make them happy. I then recieved the exact same email again. I again responded telling them that there is nothing wrong witht the card please print the card. AGAIN tehy send an email telling me the same as above AGAIN I tell them this time for the love of pete print my biz card!! nothing is wrong, if you really believe something is wrong please send me a proof to view guess what AGAIN an email telling me to reupload the card. this time I email them back asking what the fricking problem is here!? I told you to print my card 3 times and 3 times you tell me to reupload. finally I get a proof and its fine so I approve it and then guess what 12 minutes latter I get another email telling me to re upload can you see how this is frustrating! I then called them and they say they only see one email then after talking awhile they find another one but say I never said to print the card which in every email in caps I said to print it. longer story short after being treated like dirt on the phone with the worst customer service ever I gave in and said just please please print my card as I sent it to you I'm begging you! so lets hope I get my card and it looks ok, the really weird part is this is the same exact card they printed before so I am so very confused as to what the problem was. so not sure I will use them again, from the price stand point they do have good prices although I get better else where most of the time got print does offer certain products cheaper then many other places but you need to have a need for those specific products. sam

When we discussed printers on another thread, I was getting ready to print promo for several different markets. I decided to place an order with GotPrint, OverNightPrints and Vista. The quality of all three were comparable. Since then, I started using GotPrint for most items due to the pricing. The only problem I've had were impression marks from the feeders on some of the printed pieces. Not many, but they are thrown away because I don't want a potential client to get them. Never had that problem with OverNightPrints.

I've used 4over.com on a number of occasions and have been happy with the results. They do a great job for reasonable prices.
Also, if you could use some help putting together some promo materials, check out my blog at http://www.themethod.co where I offer practical advice for magicians on graphic design and branding that you can use right away. Kris Sheppard
