I am new to coin magic and gaffed coins, my program hass only a miser's dream and basic matrix.
I am thinking about improving this last one with some (un) expanded shells, or flipper coins, and to double or triple the coins in the end. My question: is it a ridiculous idea to make a coin roll with a trimmed dollar in an unexpanded shell in an expanded shell? or a (gravity) flipper? Would they fall apart while rolling? I mean if I don't drop them. |

The flippers and shells made by Lassen and Schoolcraft roll easily. Johnson shells usually tend to separate from the solid coin when rolled.

If you get a quality gaffed coin, you shouldn't have problems when you do the coin roll. I have flippers and shells from Roy Kueppers and Jamie Schoolcraft and they roll just fine..

The sh..ll I use from Roy rolls perfectly (ofcourse you have to be careful).
I use this idea (rolling a sh..ll) also as a coin production.. Instead of bringing the coin with your thumb to be placed for the next roll, you can unnest the shell and the normal coin remains in the finger palm position..
Searching for the magic side of life...
