It's been a wonderful read Mr. Rotten. Thanks for your candor and experiences. Don't be so hard on yourself. I'm certain that you have realized that sometimes folks are carrying plastic and not as apt to let go of the little green they have for the parking meters etc... There are also many tourists in San Diego from Europe and the culture hasn't caught on to the tipping philosphy as well as we try to here statesdide. You must continue to educate them to the gesture during your sets as I'm sure you do.

Jim Davis is a close personal friend of mine and most likely he has introduced us in the past. He has introduced me to many talented buskers since my return to San Diego from Phoenix.
