Lots of good info, Aus. Thanks for taking the time to put it together.

I did want to mention that IBM has the follwoing condition:
"Candidates for membership in the International Brotherhood of Magicians must have had a sincere interest in the art of magic for at least two years prior to application (one year for Youth Membership)".

So it seems that they may not be a good start for a beginner. It's worth knowing they are out there though.
