I know its weird, but I use a rolling stanley tool box for a bunch of my stuff. Granted I cant fit everything in there but when I am doing a combination show with face painting or balloon twisting I can pack enough props in the lower portion for a magic act and I use the top part for my balloons/pumps. It serves the purpose and was about $35. at the local Wal-Mart.

The Plano brand fishing tackle boxes are also a good choice for carrying props.
