Watched some performances, really loved it even the little slip on Kissing Cousins [twice removed, haha!]. Are you guys getting Simon Aronson to do a DVD set to get the Chicago Triad completed?

I have the new 3 disc Solomon set,very good with some wonderful tricks and useful moves,John Bannon is guest sitter on some of the explanations and 23 tricks for the price is well worth it.
Love the Oil & water with just 8 cards.

Too much to mention really,if you love cards then get this!

THE CARD SOLUTIONS OF SOLOMON not worth my money.

Respectfully, To Big Blind: Visually, Mr Solomon, in his physical condition and age, does not belong in a gym surrounded by young "pumped" kids. Nor does he "fit" in the "industrial basement" w/ cool urban lighting. He DOES belong in a library, Bingo parlor, or gambling casino, etc. The contrast only served to heighten his "disconnect" and discouraged interest from his spectators. Yeah, Mr Solomon's a "creator", not a "performer", you should have filled-in the gap.

On the material...I didn't like anything, honestly. If I really felt like blow'n the kids away at my next Magi Club meeting with a new version of the 21 card trick(and devote the 40 hours of practice), then okay.
People want to participate/watch the "parade", not labor over the guy in the dusty corner putting his ship in a bottle.
Nothing in this set is "easy" with the exception of the "Finger Print Trick". If I end up stuttering, while trying to remember a procedure for any of these tricks, I can't focus on my presentation. ie. If I end-up "fishing" over a 21 card trick, well your just blowing smoke up my ear.

I wasn't looking for "easy", mind you. Just something that could be added to what I have. This I didn't find here. Your view may differ and I respect that.

I picked this set up a while back and thought the material was overall pretty strong. While not easy, I think there's a range of material for people of different skill levels.

I would agree about BBM putting some of there performers in the wrong environment. I felt the same way about the George McBride and Bannon DVDs. I guess they think what they're doing is hip and cool and will appeal to a younger demographic. In the end they just look out of place.
