It's a beautiful presentation for coin collectors! Now I doubt that it's really practical for magicians who cannot expose their gimmicked coins.

Nice box.
Take a look at the recycled cigar box re-purposed for coin gaffs at this blog posted by new Café member, Taklyt: http://pingpong-allstar.blogspot.com/ A very nice inexpensive alternative. While you are at it, check out his routines on the blog. Not bad. Especially for someone who says he has been doing coin magic for only a few months. Regards, Alan |

Thank you Alan for the feedback!
David, he box you sent looks really nice! And at this price it's quite the bargain (collector boxes for coins are quite expensive, I've checked myself) Now I think that with a bit of imagination, you could use one even for the presentation of a routine. Imagine talking to your audience about your precious coin collection, and then add that you even discovered the fact that some of your coins had magic properties. The fact that they're displayed in a collector's box should stop the audience from rushing to examine them, as they're presented as valuable pieces of a collection. You could then go into your routine, place youre coin back in the box and let the spectator admire them (without lettinng them handle your gaffs)... |
