There never seems to be much talk about the annual Tenyo Special reward line. Is this because the line appears & disappears so rapidly? Sure, they're not of the same caliber as their main product line, but I still think that there are some highlights in this group. In my experience, Ghost Puzzle goes over well with the audience. Magician's Clock also plays exceptionally well as it is one of the very, very few time illusions available anywhere. The secret for me, was to change the trick name & remove any clue that it was about time until the conclusion. Anybody else have any favs in this collection?

I ordered Ghost Puzzle from Hitomi and I hope to receive it withing the next few weeks - it seems a nice trick indeed.
I also like the Magician's Clock, Sakaku (Illusion) Scale and Scratch Card. Mind Roulette got a good review on Stereo's site so also looking forward to trying that one. |

This is the most complete list of Tenyo Specials that I am able to put together. All created by Toru Suzuki with the exception of Mind Roulette (Tomoyuki Shimomura). Can anyone add any info? If anyone has a spare, decent condition Magician's Clock that they would like to trade or sell, please PM me.

Does anyone have any inside scoop information regarding the forth-coming Tenyo 2012 annual Special?

I've seen and had most of these at one time or another, but the best effect--the one that really should have been released as a regular numbered Tenyo item--is "Illusion Scale." The strength of the visual illusion is impossible to conveny in print. It's one of the best items Tenyo has ever produced.

"Illusion Scale," is as you state, a visual feast, if given a worthy performance. It is also a super rare Tenyo bargain at less than $10. There are however, several very similar versions available with slight twists. I have seen or tinkered with "Baffling Boomerangs", "Butterfly Puzzle", "Monkey Puzzle" & the "Over & Under Puzzle." The Tenyo version smoked them all. Can anyone confirm that Toru Suzuki was the original inventor of the concept? The name Ian Adair pops-up a lot on this one.
