Have anyone heard of this Ireland magician and his book, Easy magic tricks? If have, what do you think of it?

He is actually a member of the Café. I don't know anything about Easy Magic Tricks, but I do have a copy of his Teach Yourself Magic. It does not have as many pictures as I would like (I am a very visual learner), but the descriptions are clear and adequate. With a lot of basic magic books, you keep getting the same tricks over and over. (How many times do I have to read how to do a Do As I Do card trick and have it be called the best card trick in the world?) The refreshing thing about this book is that it avoids some of the overly-published and now rather hackneyed tricks while not getting into expensive apparatus magic or silly pointless tricks you will never use. There is a good description of how to swallow a balloon, a very nice linking rings routine for kids, and several good routines for the tricks. His presentation of the cards across makes it a lot more fun than the usual "you counted 10 cards and he counted 10 cards and now you have 13 and he has 7."

If Easy Magic Tricks is a retitle of the same book, it is worth having for the amateur magician. I have not regretted getting it.

Ya, Easy Magic Tricks is the re-title for teach yourself magic. I like the fact he include tips and rules for stuff such as marketing yourself and performing for children. The downside of this book is that it is very brief. For example, coin palmings, he only uses 2~3 sentences to describe it (not very detail..) Overall, it is quite a good book and I hope to see Anthony magic clips if available.
