I just got a shipment of 321s and noticed that tips are no longer black. I questioned the seller and was told that they no longer make them with black tips anymore. Seriously? Why is this? Anyone?

The regular black tipped bees are still available; guessing you got a bag of the undipped bee bodies.
I use the undipped 321's for bat bodies (use a 260 to add wings) and bird beaks and for a great devil/imp head that uses two of them and is based on an elf head design from Balloon Magic. The 321's also work well as horns on a Viking hat. |

Hey Christopher, you have received some misinformation. Qualatex still makes the same 321 bee bodies in red, white, pink and yellow with the black tips, same as ever (they've discontinued orange)
However, Qualatex does also make "undipped" 321s now without the black tip in the same colors plus green, blush, brown and a few others. Looks like your seller, not you, was the one who make the error. |

I didn't have too much use for orange 321s, but did see that pink 321 bee bodies were also discontinued. The Pink 321s made a great butterfly - sorry to see those go!

You can always use a pink 360 and discard the excess.

For a couple years I would buy a couple bags of orange bee bodies and twist fast pumpkins for all the kids that came to my door on Halloween. I really never had a use for them beyond that save for the occasional fruit hat. I would love to see a gray bee body. would make for a great seal or jet.
