And he's got a great blog.

Also, he was just in the San Diego local paper because he's awesome.

Just thought you should know that.

I didn't hear the podcast, but just seeing the producer say it's their best podcast ever is really very impressive just by itself.

Thanks Jimmy! Keep shining! You are loved and appreciated more than you know!

Jimmy's posts are one of the reasons I keep tabs on the Magic Café.

I find the opinions on the "side walk shuffel" to be the most grounded and magigcally inclined on this whole site. I don't know if that makes any sense. The people here "get" magic and I think Jimmy is one of the best thinkers.

I think he brings crazy wisdome to the table, in the budhist sense not in the angry uncle sense.

He doesn't have the biggest illusions, or the best website, but his ideas and quite commitment are more magical then any sparkly backdrop.

He doesn't sit at home pining for and audience he takes the magic to the people.

I'm stunned this isn't two pages yet.

Or maybe it is????

I love camping and I love Jimmy. My wife had a big party for the royal wedding tonight, she's english, and a friend of mine came over. He had stumbled upon my thread and learned of Jimmy and is now a huge fan. Of course. If I ever meet him I'm gonna hug him like no tomorrow. Stand still man. It's just a hug.

I met Jimmy almost a decade ago in El Paso,Tx. He was known as Travelin Jim Davis back then. I have found him to be a very genuine compassionate individual with a dear love for performance magic. It really is his only job! He has struggled many times but always kept pounding the streets, to his credit.

He has mitigated disputes amongst performers both magicians and vendors of tangible creations, to try and make the buskers harmonious in the community at Seaport Village in San Diego.

I have met several of his protege's and he seems to have done an above average job of teaching them to respect the men who came before us in this craft.

To hear and listen to Jimmy "Talks A Lot" his vocal cadence and tones during his street sets, actually reminds me of Jerry Lewis as a young man. Ironically Jerry keeps his antique wooden boat "Sams Place" docked on the slip within eyesight of where Jimmy performs mostly in San Diego at the Embarcadero.

If you hear someone yell, "Watch The Stick" run to the sound as you will find Jimmy about to start another humorous show.
