Do any of you workers give away stuff at your own tables besides your business cards?
If so what is your approach and what do you do...

I use my business card for a card routine, but I have always liked the idea...
If I was not so thrify I would be giving good stuff away. I have always believed a giveaway that "suspends" the magic is a great like a business card with holes in it a la Michael Close's Pothole Trick, or what Michael Ammar used to do when he would give away a machined quarter with a pencil stuck through it to end his pencil through quarter routine. I use an egg bag, show it empty in the beginning, let people stick their hand in and feel around, then I ask that they cup their hands and I pour out a golf ball with my name or clients name printed on it, they get to keep it,
Also, direct from Jeff McBride, I use his bracelet thru finger and that’s a giveaway too. |

I did a gig for a large investment bank once, launching a gold trading platform, so I got one of those gimmicked brass blocks that you put in a matchbox and can push a needle through before showing solid. I then got a tool maker to make up solid non gimmicked ones with the banks website and logo on. Did the trick then switched for ungimmicked block. It was a great giveaway.

I took a tip from Tommy Wonder. My most popular trick has always been signed card to impossible location. Wallet, shoe, box, sugar packet, the glove compartment of Jon Armstrong's Mercedes, etc. I had a large edition of my business card made up and scored so it could be easily folded in half. Then a bit of sticky stuff inside to place a folded card. Along with my contact info, there was a thank you to the spectator. Tommy used this in his "Through the eye of the needle routine." While I would give away dozens of cards every night, I would only use this once, maybe twice for birthdays, anniversaries etc.

Long Time ago I use to do the "Napkin Rose" with a subtlety by Kevin James that adds scent of rose to the paper...this makes GREAT give away! Also in the days that "Silly Bands" are not so popular when the rubber band gets the shape of an animal I give them as a souvenir.
Linking Rubber Bands ( The ones presented by Paul Harris ) are very good souvenirs too! Signed cards always makes good souvenirs! -H

Nothing new here:
My business card has a 52 on 1 on the back. So I predict that their thought of card is on the back of my business card. Customers will keep that card so they can do the card prediction too.
