and Al Angello is correct, not only is it incredibly hard to be funny, very few people can do it (I know I'm not funny, I don't even try to be on stage, maybe occasionally humorous but flat out funny ... not me) If you are that 1 in 1,000,000 ... with a lot of hard work and a few lucky breaks, maybe you can earn comfortable living.
