So I've purchased a few DVDs over the last month or so that concentrate on wearables. I like the idea of making something to be worn, but I haven't been making much. I am afraid that if someone asks for something and they don't want to wear it, that they'll be upset. (And no one wants an unhappy customer)
I was wondering how all you other twisters handle this, or if it's even an issue. Should I worry about upsetting them, or am I overthinking the issue? -Alex

I give them a choice of one to wear on the head, one to wear on the wrist, or one to hold. When they want one to hold, it's usually the parents that end up holding it. I know that Mark Byrne only makes hats. Hats are generally faster, and they really show off your work especially when you get a room or stadium full of balloon hats.

I give them a choice, as well. I have found that some people don't want to wear a balloon, so I will give them what they want.

Since I make anything into a hat..... When I do have a finicky person that doesn't want a a hat I say this:
" you can always hold it if you like, but it going to be so big I don't know where you will put it. (table space is limited)" "Also I can't guarantee it's safety if you don' wear it" "how about we just take a picture with it on your head?" "It makes a great night stand for your sculpture!"
