Hi there I have been a Café member for a while. I have been doing magic for about 6 years. In this time I have built up a few walk round sets, a parlour act and street show. I not a full time professional magician but it a serious hobby that brings in a extra income.
August 2010 saw me and my wife finish at the science museum in London were we were both science communicators. I spent 8 years blowing stuff up and playing with stuff. Were now in my wife home New Zealand and since December 2010 we have set up our own company http://www.scienceinavan.co.nz/. We go into schools and do curriculum linked shows in schools. This is not magic yet the performance style is very similar in many ways. I am posting this up to say if likes what they see and wants to ask anything about performing in schools or doing science to ask away. Check out our website http://www.scienceinavan.co.nz/
Enjoy your magic,
and let others enjoy it as well! |

I worked for a company that's done similar work called "Mad Science". They've got some pretty cool stuff.
